Psalm 78:6-8

^6 (A)That the generation to come might know, even ^(B)the children yet to be born,
That they may arise and ^(C)recount them to their children,
⁷ That they should set their confidence in God
And ^(D)not forget the deeds of God,
But ^(E)observe His commandments,
⁸ And ^(F)not be like their fathers,
A ^(G)stubborn and rebellious generation,
A generation that ^(H)did not ^[a]prepare its heart
And whose spirit was not ^(I)faithful to God.
